DIGITAL FILES

What am I purchasing?

Our digital listings are files that you can download and use to 3D print the design yourself. No physical product will be shipped to you.

Each listing will tell you exactly which files are included and what you can expect.

What file formats are included?

Our frame files are provided as 3MF files, with STL files available where noted in the listing.

We recommend using the 3MF file when possible because it is set up with the print pause needed for placing the magnets into the frame during printing.

What size magnets are these frames made for?

Each frame listing includes the specific magnet size it was designed for. Please check the individual product listing before purchasing.

Do the magnets go inside the frame?

Yes! Our frame designs are made so the magnets are embedded into the 3D print rather than simply attached to the back.

This helps keep the magnets secure and creates a clean finished look.

Do I need a 3D printer?

Yes. These are digital 3D-print files, so you will need access to a compatible 3D printer and slicing software.

We recommend using the 3MF file when available because it includes the print settings and pause placement needed for the magnet.

What if I use the STL file?

STL files do not contain the same print setup as a 3MF file.

If you use the STL, you will need to add your own pause in your slicer at the appropriate layer so you can insert the magnet during printing.

Can I use the files for personal and commercial purposes?

Yes! Our current digital frame files may be used for personal and commercial 3D printing.

You may sell physical items that you make using the files.

You may not resell, redistribute, share, or give away the digital files themselves.

Can I sell the physical products I print?

Yes! You are welcome to use our commercial-use files to create physical products to sell.

The digital file itself, however, may not be resold, shared, uploaded, or redistributed.

Can I share the digital files with a friend?

No. Digital files are for the purchaser's use and may not be shared, copied, redistributed, or uploaded elsewhere.

If someone would like to use one of our designs, please direct them to Memory Moments so they can purchase their own copy.

TINKERCAD FOR BEGINNERS

What is the Tinkercad guide?

Our Tinkercad for Beginners guide is designed for people who are new to 3D design and want an easy-to-follow introduction to creating their own designs.

It focuses on the basics without overwhelming you with complicated software or terminology.

Do I need previous CAD experience?

Not at all!

The guide is designed with beginners in mind. If you've never used Tinkercad before, you can start from the beginning and work your way through the lessons.

What do I need to use the guide?

You'll need access to Tinkercad and a computer or compatible device to follow along.

Tinkercad is a beginner-friendly, browser-based design program that makes it easy to start learning the basics of 3D design.

DOWNLOADING YOUR FILES

When will I receive my digital files?

Because these are digital products, your files are delivered electronically after your purchase. Nothing will be mailed to you.

Please make sure you have access to the email address associated with your order.

Can I download my files again later?

Please keep your original download available for future use. If you have trouble accessing a purchased file, contact us through your order and we'll be happy to help when possible.

I purchased a file but can't find my download. What should I do?

First, check the email address associated with your purchase, including your spam or junk folder.

If you're still having trouble, send us a message through your order with your purchase information and we'll help you troubleshoot.

PRINTING QUESTIONS

What 3D printer should I use?

Our files are designed for 3D printing, but printer settings can vary between machines, materials, and slicers.

We recommend following the printing information included with each listing and making adjustments based on your own printer and filament.

What filament should I use?

You can use the filament that works best with your printer and the look you're trying to achieve.

Experimenting with different colors and finishes is part of the fun!

Do you offer refunds on digital files?

Because digital products are delivered electronically, please review the listing details carefully before purchasing.
