What started as a little idea for making photo magnets turned into something so much bigger than I ever expected.
I’m a stay-at-home mom of two, a military spouse, and someone who lives far away from most of our family. With my husband’s unpredictable flight schedule, life can be a little chaotic to say the least, but I’ve always loved finding ways to make our home feel connected to the people and memories that matter most.
That’s where the mini photo frames began.
I wanted a cute, simple way to turn our favorite photos into something we could see and enjoy every day. When I couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind, I decided to try making it myself. I taught myself CAD from scratch, and let me tell you, it was a learning curve. There were countless hours of learning, designing, redesigning, troubleshooting, and probably more than a few moments of wondering what I had gotten myself into.
But eventually, I created the frames I had envisioned. And I loved them.
I started selling the physical frames on Etsy, and before long, I kept getting the same question:
“Do you sell the digital files?”
So, here we are!
This shop was created to share the digital files behind my designs with other makers, 3D printing enthusiasts, and creative people who want to bring these little frames to life in their own homes.
Every design you find here represents hours of learning, designing, testing, and refining. My hope is that by offering the files, I can save you some of the learning curve I went through—and give you the chance to create something special of your own.
